Tzopelli specializes in hand painted wood products. She uses popular icons, as the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Catrina (skeleton) alone or as wedding couple, the Lucha Libre and Frida Kahlo amongst others. In many cases decorated with glitter and paper or cloth flowers.
She makes small numbered series from her products.
The writing 'Tons que Chatita' (what then dear), is of a man awaiting an answer from the woman after a proposal.
This shrine has a painting of a Catrina skeleton couple, and it's decorated with glitter, paper flowers, fantasy jewelry and is prepared for hanging.
This piece is number 1 of a series of 2.
